On the guided walk through the abandoned settlement, you see the old fish factory, the lovely little cemetery, the house currently used as a summer camp and the pretty old church.
Humpback whales In the past 5-10 years, large numbers of humpback whales have been sighted close to the shores of Sisimiut to feed on ammassat (capelin).
